6 and 6 fun league! PDF Print E-mail

For 2015-16 season Twin Rivers is introducing the "6 and 6" fun league!

This Wednesday evening fun league runs 6 weeks beginning late Oct. /early Nov. thru to mid-Dec.

Games will be only 6 ends. A separate 6 week session begins mid-Jan.

You can participate in one or both.

League fees are low at just $100 per person!

This league is introduced for the following people:

  • people new to the sport who aren't sure they want to commit to a full 22 week season
  • snowbirds or others away for an extended period of time during the season
  • businesses with 4 or more employees who would like a social activity but can't commit the same 4 people for every week of the season
  • a group of friends, volunteers, government, non-profits, etc. with more than 4 people would could provide 4 participants for each of the 6 weeks

The league is designed as social and non-competitive, ideal for beginners. Some teams may want a seasoned curler or two to provide a bit of guidance.

There is currently room for 8 teams for this league with a 7 pm start time...if sufficient interest we'll consider 2 draw times of 6:30 and 8 pm. Better enter early!

Remember you don't need to have the same 4 people each week (as long as 4 show to participate)

Equipment such as brooms, sliders and grippers are available to borrow. You provide your own clean sports shoes.
